Summer 2026 Notes

On 22 August 2026 Solver Games tagged Drone Defense 2 with a Summer Event strip. The Roblox title flipped to [SUMMER!]. Two badges define the patch: Ocean Diver (Scuba Tessa’s questline) and Sea Shell Collector (every Ducky N bundle). This page is the dated note. The playbook is the Summer Event guide.

What shipped

  • Event branding and lobby market (Ducky N).
  • Shells as the event wallet. Public codes 5K_COMMUNITY (500) and 10K_GROUP (300) dropped into that wallet.
  • Scuba Tessa as a quest NPC / unit identity.
  • Ocean-themed badges that still showed 0.0% rarity (impossible / unearned) on the public snapshot — meaning almost nobody had finished them yet, not that they are fake.

The rest of the sequel did not pause. You still place 15 drones, you still spend Oil in matches, you still need tiers. Summer is a layer, not a reboot.

Codes that exist because of this week

The live codes hub is the authority. Summer-shaped strings on that list are the two Shell codes plus the usual Keybug/Battery set (SECRET_01, Release, B3TT3R). If a thumbnail says “8 NEW CODES,” some of those eight already sit on expired.

How to spend the patch

  1. Redeem Shell codes the same day.
  2. Buy power bundles before cosmetic bundles.
  3. Start Scuba Tessa while Easy is still farmable — quest steps that say “win X” should ride along with Battery farms.
  4. Do not delete your Medium bar for a snorkel unit.
  5. Screenshot owned bundles for Sea Shell Collector in case the market UI shuffles.

What this patch is not

It is not a Void rewrite. The Abyss listing is 5 September 2026. It is not a 50-unit roster expansion. It is not free Oil. It is not a reason to ignore beginner loadouts.

If Ducky N sells a drone that feels broken, log it and wait a week. Event shops overtune, then get quietly adjusted without a blog post. Recheck the drones tier list after that week, not after the first screenshot.

End-of-event hygiene

Before Void week, dump leftover Shells if the UI warns they convert or expire. Finish Ocean Diver if you are mid-chain. Keep the resource checklist on Shells until they are gone, then flip it back to Keybugs.

This note will freeze when the branding drops. The play guide may stay as history. If Solver Games extends summer past 5 September, we will stamp that here rather than on Void’s page.

Until then, treat every Ducky N screenshot as shop UI, not as a new physics engine. Your beginner loadout still starts with eco. Your codes still redeem in the left-side CODES! panel. Summer is a wallet and two badges on top of a tower defense you already know how to play. If you only have time for one event task this week, redeem the Shell codes and buy a power bundle — the snorkel quest can wait one Easy farm.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, tiers, maps, and the Summer Event.

When did the Summer Event start?

The Roblox event strip lists 22 August 2026. The title still showed [SUMMER!] on 28 August.

Why are Ocean Diver and Sea Shell Collector at 0%?

Public snapshots showed 0 wins ever — the event was new, not impossible. They are real badges.

Do I have to finish summer before Void?

No, but spend Shells if they will expire. Void is a different mode listing on 5 September.

Did summer add more than 15 drones?

Treat Ducky N and Scuba Tessa as event identities inside the existing kit until the index says otherwise.
