Drone Defense 2 One-Wallet Resource Checklist
A session is one number. When it hits, you spend once and you log out of the grind.
Most Drone Defense 2 sessions fail because they try to farm everything. You cannot optimize Keybugs (losses OK), Batteries (wins only), Oil (in-match), and Shells (event) at the same time. This checklist forces one wallet.
Definitions live on currencies. Loops live on farm resources. Codes are a one-time tick on the codes hub.
Before you queue (every session)
- I redeemed live codes on this account (or I already did, once).
- I picked exactly one target below.
- I wrote a number (example: +400 Keybugs, +8 Batteries, 3 Easy wins for Oil practice, remaining Shells to 0).
- My loadout planner has slot 1 and 2 filled.
- I am not entering Void ‘for loot’ unless that is the written target.
If any box is empty, you are sightseeing. That is allowed, but it is not a farm.
Target A — Keybugs
Pick this if a planner slot is empty or a core drone is under-tiered.
- Vote the highest difficulty you can play late.
- Losses are OK if you reached expensive waves.
- Stop when the number hits, then one summon or one tier. Not both.
- Do not spend Shells on this target.
Target B — Batteries
Pick this if a win shop is the blocker.
- Vote a difficulty you can close.
- Leave doomed matches; losses do not pay.
B3TT3Ris a one-time +5, not a loop.- VIP/gamepass multipliers apply here, codes do not repeat.
Target C — Oil practice
Pick this if you leak with a ‘good’ bar. You are not farming a lobby wallet; you are drilling placement.
- Easy or Medium only.
- Place eco, hold, then wait. Count how long until you can afford slot 3.
- If that time is ‘never,’ you need tiers, not a fourth drone.
- Watch the Medium video on Getting Started once, then copy timing, not names.
Target D — Shells
Pick this during Summer.
- Spend leftover community-code Shells first.
- Buy power bundles before cosmetics.
- Quest steps for Scuba Tessa can ride along if they say ‘win,’ which also feeds Batteries.
- Stop when Sea Shell Collector is done or when a conversion warning hits before 5 September.
After the session
- Number hit? Spend once.
- Number missed? Do not switch wallets mid-tilt. Requeue the same target or stop for the day.
- Did I open a legendary shop ‘just to look’? That is a failed checklist. Close it.
- Log the result next to the loadout names so tomorrow-you does not repeat the hour.
Co-op: agree the target in chat. A party that splits Keybugs vs Batteries will pick the wrong vote and annoy each other on a 20-player server.
This checklist is the anti-script. It still works after a patch. Use it until the number is boring, then go play secrets for fun, not for wallets. If you finish a session and cannot remember which wallet you chose, the checklist failed — write the target in Discord status or on a sticky before you queue the next elevator.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, tiers, maps, and the Summer Event.
Can I farm Keybugs and Batteries together?
Only if you are winning the high difficulty anyway. If you have to choose, pick the wallet that unblocks the planner.
What number should I set?
One summon cost, one tier cost, or one market bundle. Vague 'a lot' is how three-hour sessions happen.
Do codes count toward the number?
Yes, once. Tick them in the pre-queue list, then farm the remainder honestly.
Should Void be a target?
Only after 5 September, and only if the client actually pays what you need. Until then it is not a checklist row.
